My Cautionary Life: How NOT To Live

I’m a Cautionary Girl, living in a Cautionary World.

I was raised in a Cautionary Church.  I didn’t have sex before I married my Cautionary Husband at the age of 23. We got a Cautionary Dog.  I didn’t know how unhappy I was until I had a Cautionary Affair. After a separation and A LOT of therapy, we got a Cautionary Divorce.  I work a Cautionary Job.

This is my Cautionary Blog.

If you would like to chat, you can e-mail me at acautionaryblog (at) gmail (dot) com.

  1. BTW my dear. There is no way to live your life. We ALL figure it out as we go. Sometimes we mess up a little. Sometimes those “mess ups” end up being the best thing that could have happened and they lead us down a path we would have never taken due to fear or rationalization or caution or stupidity or a million other things.

So embrace your new Cautionary Life. Go to therapy (goodness knows it saved me!) and figure it out and let this be the life you want. The life you are meant to have.

*big hug via the internet* 😉

  2. finally ventured over here. glad to see you have a place to share what’s going on in your life. i’m so sorry you’re going through all of this, and i hope that you and CH are able to work things out in a way that is best for both of you. sending you a virtual hug!

  3. My friend sent me to your blog, and I love it (which I know might not be the thing to say since it’s kind of serious, but I see it as all of the serious stuff that I can’t say on my blog/has MUCH better writing)! We both were talking about you, and decided that we really want to be friends with you, and neither of us are lesbian bartenders!!
